Celece Seegmiller, owner of the The Travel Connection located in St. George, Utah, asked me to make a cake for a seminar she was having with 4 major Cruise Lines. We decided on luggage covered with stickers and a label with her logo on it. Everything was edible and I was able to use stamps again. I love using stamps ...... its so much better than my drawings. I draw like a toddler and that is no exaggeration!!
Ofcourse I forgot to take pictures of the cake and asked Celece to take a few for me. Wouldn't you know her camera was acting up!!! So I got a totaly of one Phone Camera Shot. I guess better than No Pictures at all.
Cake flavor was Dark Chocolate & Strawberry with Vanilla Buttercream filling and frosting. I created two suitcases. The top one was covered in pink fondant with an owl. Did you notice Owl's are in right now. I love them!!! The bottom was an old fashioned trunk suitcase with stickers from around the world. Even though you can only see a few of them. Also a luggage label with The Travel Connection logo. The cake board was covered in fondant and carved & painted to resemble wood flooring.
Thanks Celece!!!
This was created and delivered to The Lexington Hotel in St. George, Utah.
